The Presidential Office has selected a new title candidate for the Yongsan Oval Office.

Among the 30,000 entries, the five nominations were selected by the committee by unanimous votes after analyzing frequently used vocabulary words, etc.

Nominated works include People's House, National Government Complex, Mineum Government Complex, Barunnuri, and Itaewon-ro 22.

First of all, 'People's House' implies that the people are the owners of the presidential office, and the presidential office is a space open to all.

Earlier, in an interview with foreign media, President Yoon mentioned the tentative name 'People's House'.

'People's Government Complex' means a public space for the people.

Rather than a government office, it added meaning by using the words 'listen to hear' and 'think about the people', which means listening to the people's voices.

'Itaewon-ro 22' was taken from the street address of the office.

It appears to be a reference to the British Prime Minister's office, '10 Downing Street'.

The president is also a citizen,

'Mineumcheongsa' is a pure Korean word that combines 'barda' and 'nuri', meaning the world.

The Presidential Office New Name Committee will conduct a public preference survey on the five nominations on the 'People Thinking' website until the 9th.

After that, we plan to finalize and announce a new name within this month by adding up the results of the public preference survey and the judges' points in a 7 to 3 ratio.
