It was at 23 o'clock in the evening that a police patrol noticed the man traveling on a so-called fatbike on Tallhagsvägen in the direction of Norrliden's center.

When the man saw the police, he jumped off his fat bike, threw something on the ground and started running in another direction.

After a short hunt, a policeman managed to catch the man and then noted that he has his GPS running and set to an address in Norrliden.

The weapon that was found thrown next to the vehicle turned out to be a kind of tear gas / starter pistol, but modified and loaded with sharp ammunition.

Suspected of being a torpedo

The address in the man's GPS leads to an empty association room, but on the same street several people are written with a connection to the Norrliden gang and the gang conflict that had just erupted at the time, with the murder of Kattrumpan as the starting shot.

Shortly before the 19-year-old was arrested, the police made a check of three famous people within the Norrliden gang who were then near the address and wore bulletproof vests.

The man was arrested on probable cause on suspicion of preparation for murder and gun crime, and according to prosecutors, there were then suspicions of connection to the Norrliden conflict and that he was in Kalmar on assignment to kill.

According to SVT, the 19-year-old man has no clear connection to Kalmar.

He has been convicted several times for various crimes, but then in the Stockholm area.

In the phone that the 19-year-old had with him, there were a number of addresses written down and a conversation with an anonymous user in an encrypted messaging service where it said "

he is there

" and "

beware of CCTV

" (surveillance cameras, editor's note).

The prepaid card in the mobile phone was activated earlier on the same day as the 19-year-old was arrested.

"Could not prove intent"

But when charges are now brought against the 19-year-old, it is only for the gun crime.

He has always denied all criminal charges.

- I can not prove intent to prepare for murder.

So I can not prove that the purpose of possessing the weapon was to try to murder someone, prosecutor Magnus Argus told the Barometer.

SVT is looking for prosecutor Magnus Argus for a comment.
