A gunman shot and killed two women and then committed suicide in a parking lot outside a church in Ames, Iowa, on the evening of June 2, local time, U.S. police said.
It is reported that a group of students were holding an event at the church when the shooting occurred.
Police said the relationship between the shooter and the two victims and the church was unclear and the cause of the incident was under investigation.
