They were 15, 18 and 20 years old.

On Friday, they died in a road accident on a departmental road in Ploudaniel, in Finistère, we learned from the prefecture.

The victims are three members of the same family, two brothers and a sister, who were all in the same car.

An accident-prone road

The accident occurred shortly after noon, this Friday, on the D770, an "accident-prone" road according to the chief of staff of the prefect.

Three children had already died on the same axis last year.

The mayor had then requested development work, which had just begun.

Their vehicle was hit by a truck.

"The heavyweight transporting pigs from a farm to a slaughterhouse overturned near Ploudaniel and cut a vehicle in two, the three passengers of which died," said the chief of staff of the prefect.
