“President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will hold talks in Sochi with the chairman of the African Union, President of Senegal Macky Sall,” the Kremlin’s website reports.
The parties are expected to discuss issues of interaction, economic and humanitarian cooperation between Russia and African countries.
Earlier it became known that a number of African countries asked Russia for help with the supply of fertilizers and food.
Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Oleg Ozerov noted that Moscow considers it necessary to strengthen the composition of embassies in Africa.
