MoD: Russian Favorit air defense systems in Ukraine destroyed Bayraktar TB2 attack drones

“In the process of carrying out combat duty, aerial targets were detected, identified as Bayraktar TB2 strike unmanned aerial vehicles.

As a result of competent actions, the strike drones in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine were taken for escort and destroyed, ”TASS reports.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov, said that the Russian Aerospace Forces hit five command posts, 29 areas of concentration of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Konashenkov also said that Russian air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft and a Mi-8 helicopter in a day.
