“The government of Zimbabwe came up with a proposal to increase the volume of supplies of wheat, sunflower oil, and also to start supplying petroleum products, which were not there before,” Interfax quoted him as saying.

Kozlov said that in recent years, the share of agricultural exports in the supply of Russian products to Zimbabwe has been increasing, mainly due to the export of wheat and mineral fertilizers.

Earlier it became known that a number of African countries asked Russia for help with the supply of fertilizers and food.

Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Oleg Ozerov noted that Moscow considers it necessary to strengthen the composition of embassies in Africa.
