Business has tripled in three years

In 2021, the Udaf du Finistère represented 411 minor victims of offences.

60% of cases concerned acts of violence, 32% cases of sexual assault and rape.

However in three years, the activity of the association has tripled due to the confinements.

But the institution, which now has 250 employees, faces recruitment problems due in particular to low pay, the index point being blocked for fifteen years.

For all these reasons, the Udaf, which is also worried about the lack of housing, only concentrates on urgent cases.

According to its managing director, about forty follow-ups cannot currently be carried out, due to a lack of financial means.
