“I have decided that we will provide the Ukrainians with more advanced missile systems and ammunition,” Biden wrote in an op-ed for The New York Times.

According to him, these systems will allow Ukraine to strike at key targets on its territory.

He added that the United States will continue to supply Kyiv with Javelin, Stinger systems and Mi-17 helicopters.

Earlier, President Biden ruled out the supply of missile systems to Ukraine capable of striking Russian territory.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev called this decision reasonable.
