Created by Michel Polnareff and L'Atelier 144, a French company specializing in cultural multimedia devices, "Polnarêves" is a "musical journey" in seven acts, lasting 40 minutes, punctuated by the artist's main hits: "We will all go to paradise", "Le Bal des Lazes", "Letter to France"...

In Paris, L'Atelier des Lumières has been offering immersive experiences for several years around the work of great master painters including Van Gogh and currently Cézanne and Kandinsky.

At the Palace, "Polnarêves" is one of the very first multimedia shows dedicated to a singer.

After a summary of Michel Polnareff's career in the hall of the Parisian theater, the spectator finds himself in a kind of gigantic bubble forming a screen of several hundred m2 on which is projected an abundance of psychedelic images, edited like clips.

Scheduled 7 times a day, the "extraordinary journey" opens with a field of poppies on "La Poupee qui fait non".

"We will all go to paradise" is an opportunity to visit the Sistine Chapel where the famous buttocks of Michel Polnareff from the poster for L'Olympia in 72, rub shoulders with masterpieces by Michelangelo, other "dream" of the singer.

"During this immersive show, the spectator is somewhat in a virtual reality helmet but without a helmet. We can move around and change our point of view. Spatialized, the sound accompanies the visitor regardless of his position. Michel Polnareff chose the songs and the illustrations. Everything was done remotely. He discovered the final result on a 3D simulator," artistic director Marc Benaïche told AFP.

From September, the singer will give the Palace remote concerts on weekends from his living room, in California where he lives: "I will welcome the public to my home, I will play for them really live, with great interaction (.. .) a piano-voice at a distance through screens in 360", he explained in January on RTL.

Michel Polnareff's last album dates from 2018 and his last tour in France from 2016, ended in confusion with the last dates canceled and a legal imbroglio with his tour producer at the time contesting the medical grounds invoked by the artist.
