The visit to Taiwan by the relevant members of the US Congress seriously violated the one-China principle and the three Sino-US joint communiques. China is strongly dissatisfied with and firmly opposed to this, and has lodged solemn representations with the US.

　　We urge relevant US politicians to strictly abide by the one-China principle and the three Sino-US joint communiques, immediately stop any form of official exchanges with Taiwan, and refrain from sending any wrong signals to the "Taiwan independence" separatist forces.
