On May 23, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office declared the fund's activity undesirable.

The Heinrich Böll Foundation* is an organization whose activities are recognized as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation by decision of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia dated May 23, 2022.
