In May, the County Museum in Örebro visits the sixth graders in Hallsberg municipality with their Mobile Museum.

Here, students have the opportunity to do their own archaeological "excavation" and play through a timeline in the form of a game plan with questions that concern current research.

- It is noticeable that the young people find it interesting to learn more about research in a completely new way, says Marcus Drotz, unit manager at Örebro County Museum.

The purpose is to inspire young people to imagine scenarios that show our opportunities to influence development, and live in interaction with the planetary boundaries, describes the museum's chairman Hans Karlsson (s).

Based on global goals

- Students can actively reflect on fun and serious issues.

It is about, among other things, consumption and lifestyle, materials and production, he says.

The future expedition is based on the global goals and is based on a scientific basis and current research.

- It feels really important and we obviously hope that the young people get a lot of knowledge from here into the future, says Hans Karlsson.
