The President of the State receives the Turkish Minister of Defense

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, "may God protect him", received today the Minister of Defense of the friendly Republic of Turkey, Hulusi Akar, who is visiting the country.

The Turkish Minister of Defense conveyed to His Highness - during the meeting that took place at the Beach Palace - the greetings of the President of the Turkish Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and his wishes for continued health and happiness, and for the UAE further progress and prosperity.. The Turkish Minister of Defense also offered his condolences and sympathy to His Highness on the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him.. While congratulating His Highness on the occasion of assuming the presidency of the United Arab Emirates, expressing his wishes for success during the next stage in leading the UAE towards further development and prosperity .

His Highness and the Turkish Minister discussed friendship relations and various aspects of cooperation and joint work between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Turkey.

For his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Turkish Defense Minister for his condolences. He also thanked him for the congratulations and the wishes he expressed on the occasion of His Highness's assumption of the presidency of the UAE.
