Counterfeit tickets, intrusion attempts, forced turnstiles… According to a police note that Europe 1 consulted, the risks of overflows had been reported by the national division for the fight against hooliganism…

Who is responsible ?

Where are the flaws?

Less than 48 hours after the fiasco of the organization of Saturday evening's match, the government wants to draw all the consequences so "that it does not happen again", in the words of the Minister of Sports, Amélie Ouéda-Castéra who summoned a meeting this Monday morning in the presence of Gérald Darmanin, the organizers, the RATP and the local police authorities.

According to information from Europe 1, the police officers of the national division for the fight against hooliganism (DNLH) had as early as Wednesday May 25, four days before the meeting, warned the authorities of the risk of overflows in a detailed note.

About 50,000 English without a ticket

In this forecast note, analysts projected the presence in Paris of "50,000 to 75,000 English supporters", including only 50 to 100 "supporters at risk".

In this four-page note that Europe 1 consulted, the DNLH describes very precisely the flow of travelers from England to the Stade de France.

And alert on the English supporters without tickets present in the capital, "about 50,000".

"Some of them will be in possession of counterfeit tickets and will try to use them to access the stadium", write in black and white the police officers responsible for combating the phenomena of violence and hooliganism.

Forced turnstiles

They even foresee that some might try to "trick into the sports arena, using, for example, the uniforms of stewards, UEFA staff, medical staff, cleaners… […] As has been observed during the previous finals played by the Liverpool club, several hundred English supporters tried to enter the stadium by forcing the turnstiles and the various access doors".

And to conclude: "The announced inclination of certain British supporters to try to enter the stadium without being in possession of tickets will not fail to generate incidents".
