The "Dragon Soaring Tiger Leaping" 2022 cross-strait dragon boat race digs deep into traditional culture, and invites Taiwan compatriots, Taiwan businessmen, Taiwan youth and Taiwan students to participate.
It is reported that the dragon boat race, the highlight of this event, will start on June 2 at the Dragon Boat Pool in Jimei District, Xiamen City.
More than 1,000 players from 41 teams from both sides of the Taiwan Strait will ride the wind and waves and fight the water together, including 24 teams from mainland China and 17 teams from Taiwan compatriots.
The competition is divided into the 300-meter straight race and the Chinese Dragon Boat Tug-of-War Open. The opening ceremony and the traditional "finishing ceremony" of the dragon boat competition will be held on the morning of the Dragon Boat Festival on June 3. The finals and the award ceremony will also appear on the same day.
The 2022 cross-strait dragon boat race of "Dragon Soaring and Tiger Leaping" also focuses on dragon boat culture, selects the traditional customs of the Dragon Boat Festival in southern Fujian, and holds folk garden parties, rice dumpling competition, cross-strait youth poetry meeting, southern Fujian folk art performances, duck hunting and other activities.
