He added that this is not easy to say, but it was just as hard to say three months ago.

“But even after 90 days, we managed to maintain our position, which we took on the first day since the start of the conflict on the territory of Ukraine,” TASS quoted the Serbian leader as saying.

Vučić also noted that so far the country has managed to defend and maintain its position.

Earlier, the head of Serbia called it impossible for Belgrade to impose sanctions against Russia. 

In addition, Vucic said that during a telephone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, he reached an agreement on a "favorable" price for Russian gas supplies.
