According to the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission, on May 29, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission announced the summary of the national investigation and punishment of spiritual problems in violation of the eight central regulations in April 2022.
In that month, a total of 7,441 cases of spiritual problems in violation of the eight central regulations were investigated and punished nationwide, and 11,351 people were criticized, educated, helped and dealt with, of which 7,603 people were punished by party discipline and government affairs.
This is the 104th consecutive month that monthly data has been released.
From the perspective of the types of problems investigated and dealt with, in terms of fulfilling duties, serving economic and social development and ecological and environmental protection, inaction, inaction, arbitrary actions, and false actions have seriously affected high-quality development. In April, a total of 3,177 problems were investigated and dealt with across the country, accounting for 83.5% of the total number of formalism and bureaucracy problems.
The three types of problems investigated and dealt with in violation of illegal receipt of valuable specialties and gifts, illegal food and drink, and illegal distribution of subsidies or welfare accounted for 39.6%, 19.6% and 18.6% of the problems of hedonism and extravagance respectively.
From the perspective of the level of investigation and punishment, in April, a total of 33 cases of leading cadres at the prefecture level were investigated and dealt with, 545 cases of leading cadres at the county and division level were investigated and dealt with, and 6,863 problems were investigated and dealt with cadres at the township level and below.
Among them, the problem of cadres at the township level and below accounted for 92.2% of the total number of problems investigated and dealt with.
