Delivery workers belonging to various platforms such as 'Baedal People' and 'Coupang Eats' will now be able to receive industrial accident insurance.
At the plenary session last night (29th), the National Assembly passed amendments such as related laws that allow delivery platform workers to also be covered by industrial accident insurance.
The amendment abolished the 'exclusiveness' requirement required for workers with special types of work, such as delivery, so that industrial accidents can be recognized even if they do not belong to a single workplace.
