A student in his twenties was stabbed on Saturday morning in his apartment located on Place Albert 1er, on the edge of the Beaux-Arts district in Montpellier.
In addition to the victim, three other people, all students, were in the accommodation.
The man, hit in the stomach, was able to leave the scene and go to the street where he was seen by passers-by who called for help.
According to the first elements of the investigation and the testimonies collected on the spot, the victim was beaten by one of his three guests after an argument for a futile reason.

The man suspected of stabbing has been taken into custody.
The victim was transported to the emergency room of the CHU of the Hérault prefecture.
His days are not in danger.
