President Zelensky visits Kharkiv Oblast for the first time after a military invasion

Ukrainian President Zelensky visited Kharkiv Oblast in the east on the 29th.

According to media sources, it is the first time President Zelensky has visited eastern Ukraine since the Russian military invasion began.



In the second city of Kharkiv, President Zelensky visited a heavily destroyed apartment complex and was briefed by Governor Sinegubov of Zmiiv Oblast about the damage.

According to the announcement by the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ukrainian side has regained 5% of Kharkiv Oblast from the Russian army, but the Russian army still occupies 31%.
