Russian Aerospace Forces have hit a large arsenal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Krivoy Rog, Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said during a briefing on the course of a special military operation.
“High-precision long-range missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed a large arsenal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the warehouse area of one of the enterprises in Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk region,” he said, adding that three command posts, 25 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment were also hit by high-precision weapons in a day Armed Forces of Ukraine, two artillery batteries in firing positions, an Osa-AKM air defense missile launcher, a radar station and five more ammunition depots.
In total, more than 300 nationalists and up to 50 units of military and special equipment were destroyed as a result of Russian air strikes.
“Operational-tactical, army and unmanned aircraft hit two command posts, as well as 53 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Konashenkov added.
Russian air defense systems shot down a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force near the village of Novogrigorovka, Dnepropetrovsk region, destroyed four drones and intercepted a Smerch multiple rocket launcher near the village of Malaya Kamyshevakha, Kharkiv region.
Rocket troops and artillery hit 62 command posts, 596 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and military equipment, as well as 52 positions of artillery and mortar units of Ukrainian nationalists.
The Ministry of Defense also published a video of the combat use of Ka-52 attack helicopters, which destroyed two tanks and a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that airstrikes were carried out from a distance of more than 5 km.
In addition, the Ministry of Defense showed footage of the combat work of the calculations of the 203-mm Malka self-propelled artillery mounts.
Artillery units of the Russian Armed Forces carry out tasks to destroy artillery firing positions and anti-aircraft missile systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, strong points, command posts and areas where Ukrainian military equipment is concentrated.
The department clarified that reconnaissance of targets and guidance of guns is carried out around the clock with the help of Orlan-10 drones.
In turn, the commander of the troops of the Central Military District, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin presented state awards to the servicemen who participated in the liberation of Krasny Liman.
The fact that the city is no longer controlled by Ukrainian nationalists was reported in the Moscow Region the day before.
The participants of the special operation were awarded Orders of Courage, medals of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, 2nd class with swords, and medals for Combat Distinction.
“42 Ukrainian nationalists were destroyed”
The people's militia of the DPR announced the elimination of 42 Ukrainian nationalists per day.
Also, two armored personnel carriers, two firing positions of 122-mm D-30 artillery howitzers and two cargo vehicles were destroyed.
At the same time, the DPR reported on the ongoing shelling of the territory of the republic from the Ukrainian side.
So, on May 28, fire was opened on Donetsk, Yelenovka and Ozeryanovka with 122 mm caliber shells, and ten rockets from the BM-21 Grad were fired at Yasinovataya.
On the morning of May 29, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continued shelling.
In Makiivka, two civilians were killed and five people were injured, and a woman was killed in Donetsk.

"Demonization Campaign"
Meanwhile, the Russian embassy in Washington reported that accusations of Moscow spread by American media of inciting genocide in Ukraine are part of a campaign to demonize the Russian Armed Forces.
The diplomatic mission commented on the report of the NGO New Lines Institute for Strategy and Policy that appeared in the Western media, where relevant accusations were brought against Russia.
“The next Russophobic insinuations are part of a campaign orchestrated by the West to demonize the Russian armed forces,” the diplomatic mission said.
They emphasized that “on the ground” things are exactly the opposite, recommended that the American public pay attention to the facts and stop criminal indifference to the actions of Ukrainian radicals.
