Shortly after 3 o'clock, the night before Saturday, a newspaper courier in Avesta called the police after being threatened by a person who also forced the car in which the courier was traveling.
After a police operation, the car could be found and a police dog could also track down the suspected perpetrator.
The arrested man is in his 40s and is now suspected of aggravated use of means of subsistence.
