According to him, the relevant bill has already been submitted to the State Duma.

Medvedev called for putting the activities of foreign agents in Russia "under tight control" and making it "transparent for our society."

Earlier, the State Duma proposed to amend Part 2 of Art.

207.3 of the Criminal Code of Russia and toughen the punishment for foreign agents for disinformation about the military.

Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Ministry of Justice, together with the Prosecutor General's Office and the Council under the President of Russia, to analyze the law on foreign agents by May 1, including in terms of the possible exclusion of organizations from the register.
