Today, Saturday, Iranian television broadcast a report on the visit of the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Muhammad Bagheri, to a secret underground army base, which is dedicated to drones of various use.

The report stated that the base is hundreds of meters underground and is located in the Zagros mountain range in the west of the country, and there are more than 100 combat drones, reconnaissance and surveillance aircraft inside.

Army Commander Major General Abdul Rahim al-Moussawi said that the power of destruction of these drones has been increased, adding that his country has become "the number one force in drones in the region, because it has a variety of drones that can be used in different operations."

The report indicated that a number of the drones located at the military base, including the “Ababeel 5” equipped with “Qaem 9” missiles, are similar to the American “Hellfire” drone, as well as the “Kiman 22” aircraft of the Air Force, which is capable of flying for a distance 2000 km, carrying "Cruise" missiles with a range of 200 km, known as "Haydar", and the "Futros" aircraft capable of carrying "Cruise" missiles and vertical bombs.
