The ruling and opposition parties have decided not to hold a plenary session of the National Assembly to deal with the supplementary budget bill scheduled for today (28th).

In the past, the issue of retrospective application of loss compensation could not be found, and the last-minute pain continues.

Instead, the ruling and opposition parties tentatively agreed to hold a plenary session at 7:30 pm tomorrow and decided to continue negotiations.

Previously, after meeting with National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok yesterday, the ruling and opposition party leaders reached a consensus to hold a plenary session to deal with the supplementary budget bill at 8 pm today.

We decided to hold the meeting for now, seeing that there is a possibility of narrowing differences in the issue of retroactive application of loss compensation.

However, after the subsequent negotiations failed to resolve differences on key issues, the ruling and opposition parties decided to postpone the opening of the plenary session by one day.

Tomorrow is the last day of the National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok's term in office.
