The Sultanate of Oman and the United Kingdom sign the Mutual Defense Agreement

The Sultanate of Oman and the United Kingdom signed the Executive Order of the Mutual Defense Agreement between them at the Royal Military College Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.

The executive order of the joint defense agreement was signed by Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces, and Lieutenant General Tony Radican, Chief of Staff of the British Defense.

The Oman News Agency stated that the signing comes as a continuation of the efforts of the two countries to enhance the historical cooperation relations between them in a number of fields, including the military field, in addition to the keenness of the leaderships of the two countries to deepen the bonds of close relations in a way that achieves the common national goals of the two countries.
