The ROC commented on the data on the decision of the UOC regarding independence

We pray for the preservation of the unity of the Russian Orthodox Church.

We pray for an early peace and an end to the bloodshed,” he said.

According to him, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is in a very difficult situation and is under pressure from various sides.

“On the part of the authorities, schismatics, nationalist-minded representatives of a certain part of the public, on the part of the media,” Legoyda wrote.
