The mother of the shooter in the elementary school massacre in the rural town of Uvaldy, Texas, USA, has prayed for forgiveness for the victims.
"I just hope the innocent children who died will forgive me," Aid Liana Martinez, mother of shooter Salver Door Ramos, said in an interview with her local broadcaster that she was shocked by her son's behavior, CNN reported.
"I have nothing to say, I don't know what my son was thinking," Martinez said in an interview in Spanish. "He must have a reason for doing that. Please don't judge him."
Regarding his son, he said, "He was very quiet and alone. He didn't bother anyone. He didn't do anything to anyone." It's different. I think he must have had a reason."
