• 19J Vox appeals to the Electoral Board the conditions of the debates agreed on television for the Andalusian campaign

The left-wing coalition Por Andalucía, led by IU and Podemos, has challenged the debate plan on Canal Sur Televisión to veto the participation of the candidate for Adelante Andalucía, Teresa Rodríguez, for which the regional electoral board will have to decide on this matter. .

The coalition has registered a letter with the electoral board, to which EFE has had access, in which it asks that Adelante Andalucía's participation in television debates be suppressed and that they be limited to parties with parliamentary representation.

They also ask that "politically significant groups" be included in the coverage plan and that scheduled interviews with Teresa Rodríguez also be eliminated from it.

The Cadiz leader has already announced that if the Autonomous Electoral Board accepts the appeal, it will appeal to the Central Electoral Board and in court, considering that the appeal of Por Andalucía "does not respect" plurality and "does a favor" to the right and far right "giving it more quota" of screen in the debates of the candidates.

Rodríguez's formation has questioned that Por Andalucía agreed this Wednesday with the rest of the party, except with Vox, the presence of Rodríguez in the debates of the candidates both on Canal Sur and on TVE.

The "veto" of Por Andalucía to Teresa Rodríguez and Adelante represents the second step and a new episode of the open conflict between these two formations, which started the legislature together until Podemos and IU managed to expel Rodríguez from the Adelante group for "transfuguismo" and eight other like-minded deputies.

There began a "political war" that has subsequently caused the division and conflict between Podemos and IU and the rest of the Adelante formations, now refounded in the new Adelante Andalucía.

For Andalusia, he now takes this conflict to the Electoral Board twice.

Last Monday, at the proposal of Por Andalucía, the Andalusian Electoral Board agreed to leave Teresa Rodríguez, candidate for Adelante Andalucía, without the economic funds that she requested as part of the coalition that she led in the 2018 Andalusian elections with the same name as the current.

Both Canal Sur and RTVE proposed a debate for the six candidates, which included Teresa Rodríguez, although she, as a parliamentarian, is not attached to any parliamentary group due to her expulsion.

This argument was used by the Andalusian Electoral Board to deny him an advance payment of the aid that the parties receive based on the representativeness and votes they get in the elections.

It is not ruled out, therefore, that Por Andalucía also resorts to the coverage provided by TVE that includes Teresa Rodríguez, although for that we will have to wait until next Monday, when the deadline for the allegations ends.

"Anything that excludes us from debates and information spaces is to give more possibilities to the right in Andalusia and take us out of the electoral field of play," Rodríguez denounced.

The Adelante candidate, in statements to journalists, has been in favor of also including Andaluces Levantaos in the debates, whose exclusion has appealed to the Electoral Board.

"We neither exclude anyone nor do we want them to leave us," Rodríguez has remarked, who has insisted that the current Adelante Andalucía is "heir" to the one that ran for election in 2018.

In his opinion, the resource of Por Andalucía may be due to the "lack" of transparency or "cowardice, for not having enough courage" to face it in the debate of the candidates.

However, he has stated that in the debates he would go "against" the right and "add against the extreme right", although he lamented that there are two ways to end the unity of the left: "One respecting plurality and the other ending with the others and be alone".
