The U.S. Department of Homeland Security will suspend its recently established Disinformation Governance Board, according to a report by The Hill on May 18, local time.

According to reports, the committee was established to combat the spread of false information that would affect border security, people's safety during disasters, and the credibility of the government, but the committee was suspended after only three weeks of establishment.

Earlier, U.S. Republican Senator Rand Paul said bluntly at a congressional hearing: "Do you know who is the largest disseminator of disinformation in the history of the world? The U.S. government."

They say they respect human rights, but the war of aggression launched by the United States and its allies against Afghanistan, Iraq and other countries has killed more than 300,000 civilians and turned more than 26 million into refugees, but no one has been prosecuted for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

It says that it opposes economic coercion, but the United States is the inventor and master of coercion diplomacy.

The United States has imposed blockades and sanctions against Cuba for half a century, and sanctions against Iran for more than 40 years. It is not uncommon for the United States to stab its allies such as the European Union and Japan without mercy.

Facts have long proven that the United States is the biggest disinformation spreader, perpetrator of coercive diplomacy, and destroyer of world peace and stability.

In the name of democracy, human rights, rules and order, what they do is to create divisions, provoke confrontation, and harm others and benefit themselves.
