"Missing"

19-year-old Denis Kazmaly from the village of Timsher signed a contract last year after graduating from college as a welder.

“He went into the army not by conscription, but of his own free will, immediately to the contract,” Denis’s best friend Dmitry Parshukov told RT.

According to him, the young man was preparing to serve in the army: he led a healthy lifestyle, went to the gym, and was engaged in weightlifting.

In addition, Denis participated in sports shooting competitions.

In the seventh grade, he was enrolled in a sports shooting school, and after seven months the guy achieved impressive results.

“At the All-Russian competitions“ Young Shooter of Russia ”in Izhevsk, he fulfilled the standard for the candidate master of sports,” Alexander Parshukov, a trainer and teacher in shooting at the Timsher branch of the Ust-Kulomsky sports school, told RT.

- We were shooting there, not on paper, there was no bias.

It was the first time for me in the history of coaching when a student or athlete achieved such results in such a short period of time.

The head of the Timsher rural settlement, Valentina Belova, told RT that Denis served in a separate special-purpose brigade in Pskov.

He periodically called home, and in February he warned his relatives that they were being sent to the landfill.

According to Valentina Belova, on February 27, communication with Denis was cut off.

“On April 4, a message was received from the commander of the military unit that it was necessary to give a notice to relatives that their son had gone missing during a special military operation.

The next day, the certificate was brought to the parents, ”says Oleg Vatansky, military commissar of the Ust-Kulomsky district.

"Together since childhood"

Denis's mother Ekaterina is a social worker who takes care of the elderly at home.

“All single grandparents love her, they say that she always tries to do more than she should,” notes Valentina Belova.

Denis's father, Ivan, is also a hard worker.

He worked on a rotational basis in another area.

“It is not surprising that parents raised such a sympathetic guy.

He did not refuse anyone, he worked tirelessly.

He always smiled and helped people, ”recalls Belova.

“Denis and I have been together since childhood.

Not a day went by that we didn’t see each other,” says Dmitry Parshukov.

— Denis loves cars, he always has.

He and I grew up in fuel oil: first bicycles, then motorcycles, then cars.

We even thought about opening our own car service together. ”

The guy is also waiting at home for two sisters: seventh-grader Sophia and baby Yesenia.

Sonya, like her older brother, is also fond of shooting.

At the end of March, she placed second in the regional air pistol shooting competition.

She told RT that her parents and all relatives are very worried about Denis.

A month ago, after a notice came of his missing, their uncle, Ivan Kazmaly's brother Andrei, left for a special operation.

And on May 11, Denis's father also left.

“We drank tea with his father in the kitchen, and he told me that he would go after Denis,” says Dmitry Parshukov.

- He is 43, he did not serve himself, he has two minor children, so he was refused twice to be sent to Ukraine.

From the third time, he agreed that they would take him as a volunteer.

I borrowed money for the trip, bought food, tickets, cigarettes, a watch with a compass and left.”

Sofya added that dad himself called on May 19, said that he was in Belgorod and everything was fine with him.

On May 26, his boss also gave the family the news that his father was alive and well.

The villagers hope that Ivan will be able to find his son.

“We are all very, very waiting for Denis to come home.

Any news from his dad will be very important for us,” Valentina Belova shares her expectations.

Nadezhda Parshukova, director of the school where Denis studied, says that she misses her former student and "when meeting, she hugs."

“I want to wish Denis to be with us.

To be alive.

I think everything will be fine, we will all pray together with the residents of the district,” adds Sergey Ruban, head of the administration of the Ust-Kulomsky district.

The Kazmaly family is worried not only in their native village, but throughout the republic.

“I sincerely express my words of support to the Kazmala family from the Timsher village of the Ust-Kulomsky district.

Their son and brother Denis Ivanovich Kazmaly, a scout-orderly of a separate special-purpose brigade, went missing during a special military operation in Ukraine.

The search for a fighter continues,” the head of the republic, Vladimir Uyba, wrote on social networks.

“In such a situation, it is impossible to sit idly by.

Therefore, Denis's father, Ivan Stepanovich Kazmaly, volunteered to continue his son's just cause in the fight against neo-Nazism.

I wish Kazmaly's family strength and patience.

May the Lord keep our warriors.

Victory will be ours!"
