The city of New York in the United States called the last public phone from the streets of Manhattan, and American media indicated that the phone that was removed will be placed in an exhibition in a local museum.

And Mark Levine, President of Manhattan, posted a tweet on his account with a video clip of the phone being removed, and said, "End of times. The last pay phones have been removed in New York City."
