Putin said this during a meeting with business ombudsman Boris Titov.

“The tasks of the state are to de-bureaucratize all this (supervisory) activity, to help, not to interfere, and, of course, reserving the right to control,” RIA Novosti quoted the president as saying.

He noted that it is necessary to control the areas related to life, the health of citizens, but "still reduce this burden."

Earlier, the Russian president said that the departure of some foreign companies may be for the better, noting that Russian companies will occupy their niches.
