- It is fantastic to see that he can now play completely independently, it is absolutely incredible, says Andreas Karlsson.

Oskar Karlsson lives in Grimhult just outside Mönsterås.

His biggest interest is gaming and his father Andreas has for several years tried to find solutions on how it could be possible for Oskar to play independently.

Due to his illness, he has needed the help of his assistants in pressing the buttons on the usual game controls.

- One of the latest prototypes me and my friend Mikael built, we tried to get so that Oskar could use all the buttons himself.

It worked decently, but the desire to really find a control that worked based on his conditions became even greater, says Andreas Karlsson.

Looking for a solution for several years

After emailing around to several different game control manufacturers, Andreas finally received a response from a Chinese company.

Together with the game control manufacturer, Andreas has, based on Oskar's wishes and needs, created a game control that Oskar can use.

- I was really surprised that I even got an answer and that there was someone who could help find a control that works for Oskar.

The hope is also that this control will be able to help others with similar problems.
