Investigative Committee Demands to Arrest the Head of Pre-trial Detention Center No. 13 in Kyiv for Torturing Russian Prisoners of War

The petition for arrest in absentia was received by the Basmanny Court of Moscow, TASS reports with reference to the press service of the court.

Earlier in Moscow, the heads of the Nikolaev and Kropyvnytsky pre-trial detention centers Roman Chabanenko and Sergey Shamshur were arrested in absentia for ill-treatment of Russian servicemen who were captured in Ukraine.

The court chose for them a measure of restraint in the form of detention for two months from the moment of detention.
