“From Friday, only cars with Hungarian license plates will be able to refuel at reduced prices at gas stations,” he said.

At the same time, Guyash noted that everyone else will be able to refuel at market prices.

According to him, "gasoline tourism" compromises the security of supply and is an abuse of the frozen price of gasoline.

As he noted, foreigners who come to the country for fuel actively take advantage of the fact that Hungary keeps prices at the level of 480 forints, while in Europe gasoline prices reach 700-900 forints.

The situation is especially tense in the border regions of Hungary.

Earlier it was reported that cases of theft of gasoline and diesel fuel have become more frequent in Finland due to rising prices.
