Deadline also reported the actor's death while filming in the Dominican Republic.
In addition to his role as a mobster in "Les Affranchis" in 1990, Ray Liotta was known to the American public for having played in the baseball film "Until the end of the dream" in 1989.
He first made a name for himself on screen in 1986 with "Dangerous in All Reports", which earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
