Abu Dhabi Police arrested a gang of four people from an Arab country in possession of 600,000 Captagon tablets, in an operation called "Poison Stones".

The Director of the Criminal Security Sector, Major General Mohammed Suhail Al Rashidi, stressed the Abu Dhabi Police's interest in following an integrated strategy to pursue and apprehend drug traffickers, no matter how they tried or invented different and misleading methods to promote their lost criminal trade.

The Director of the Anti-Narcotics Directorate, Brigadier Taher Ghareeb Al Dhaheri, stated that the gang tried to hide drugs in an innovative way inside the building blocks, but the efficiency and competence of the combatants prevented them from achieving their goal, stressing that the success of Abu Dhabi Police in seizing narcotic substances and arresting the promoters is due to the leadership's support for the fight against file. Drugs and providing the necessary means to prosecute those involved in drug cases in order to achieve the national strategy to enhance security and safety in the Emirate through crime detection and prevention.

He called on community members to enhance ways of cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Police in cordoning off the scourge of drugs, and reducing the risks of its spread among young people by immediately reporting any information they might receive regarding drug cases, and not responding to random advertisements for drug promotion, especially through social media.
