Another horrific shooting took place in the United States.

A gunman broke into an elementary school in Uvaldy, Texas, and opened fire, killing 21 people, including 18 students and a teacher.

The injured have been taken to a nearby hospital and are being treated.

The killer, an 18-year-old man named Salvador Ramos, was shot and killed by police at the scene.

His killer is said to have first shot his grandmother before heading to his elementary school, but his motive is still unknown.

Police are investigating whether the deceased was suffering from a mental illness.

The perpetrator entered elementary school armed with an automatic rifle and pistol, but it is known that no one was able to stop it because there was no security guard to guard the school gate due to the ongoing shortage of jobs after the corona crisis.

The United States is in shock as 18 children are killed in just 10 days after the shooting at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, which took 10 lives.
