“For the period from May 14 to May 20, 2022, the consumer price index, according to Rosstat, amounted to 99.98%, from the beginning of May - 100.13%, from the beginning of the year - 111.82%,” the statement says.

It is specified that the prices for gasoline and diesel fuel decreased by 0.1%.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting of the Presidium of the State Council on Social Issues, expressed confidence that inflation by the end of 2022 would not exceed 15%.
