The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah said that his country is capable of being a rich country through oil and gas in the territorial waters, and through agriculture and industry, calling for the establishment of a national consensus to extract and protect this wealth.

In his speech - this evening, Wednesday - on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon, Nasrallah said that Lebanon has two options: either to be strong “with the golden equation that has protected it during the past years, and which can preserve its wealth,” or to be Lebanon “weak and beggar.” ".

He explained that his country has a huge treasure and wealth of oil and gas in its territorial waters, "and we stand idly by while the enemy entity concludes contracts with the European Union for gas as an alternative to Russian gas."

On the political level, Nasrallah said that Hezbollah, "as an essential part of the victorious resistance, did not demand power and did not rule," noting that in this he is responding to those who say that the party wants to dominate Lebanon.

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah recalled the words of former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when he said, "The historical course of Israel has been reversed, starting with the withdrawal from Lebanon in 2000, reaching the withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and ending with the July 2006 war."

He considered that "the victory that was achieved in the year 2000 is the most important and greatest achievement in contemporary history," noting that his most important achievements are "establishing the equation of deterrence and protection", and breaking "the image of the indomitable army, and breaking the Greater Israel project," and that it gave hope to the people. Palestinians liberate their land.

He thanked everyone who "sacrificed on this path of all factions, forces, cities, villages and currents that supported the resistance."

With regard to the latest developments, Nasrallah warned of the seriousness of the situation in Palestine, noting that within days, things had happened that would lead to an explosion in the region, pointing out that the Palestinian resistance had taken its choice to respond to any prejudice to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the marches of Zionist flags.

He stressed that "any attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock mosque will explode the situation in the region, and will lead to undesirable consequences, because it will provoke the feelings of all Muslims."
