“Over the past day, 56 forest fires on an area of ​​15,144 hectares have been extinguished in Russia,” RIA Novosti reports.

According to Avialesookhrana, there are 70 forest fires in the country on an area of ​​39,181 hectares.

Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia sent all employees of the State Fire Supervision Service to check and preventive examinations of settlements subject to the threat of wildfires.
