“Given that the restrictions have already been lifted, and the violation of restrictions is not such a socially dangerous act today, I believe that the decision of the Mayor of Moscow is justified and wise enough, which will allow us to simply end this topic and put a soft end,” Bessarab emphasized.
Earlier it became known that Sobyanin decided to announce a covid amnesty.
According to him, within the framework of this amnesty, the Moscow executive authorities will stop work on collecting fines imposed but not paid for violating anti-coronavirus restrictions.
Also, the Moscow government will pay subsidies to businesses and citizens to compensate for previously paid fines.
It is clarified that all relevant fines are subject to amnesty, with the exception of a fine for non-compliance with the isolation regime during the period of COVID-19.
