At the turn of the month, the majority of the pandemic restrictions that remain in healthcare will disappear.

Among other things, it is a matter of removing the requirement for mouth protection in patient-related contacts, and the same applies to PCR sampling when enrolling in a hospital and the maximum number of visitors - who also do not need mouth protection.

- The work environment will be much better without mouth guards, especially for those who work with children where it is important to get in touch, says Inge Bruce.

The restrictions that will remain are protective measures in the care of suspected covid cases and continued infection tracking in health and care.

Does this mean that you are blowing "danger over" in the county?

- No we do not.

The situation is that we do not need these measures now during the summer, but we do not know what will happen this autumn.

The decision is based on the declining spread of infection in the county.
