Today (24th) around 7:56 am, two Chinese Air Force bombers entered Cadiz, the Korean Air Defense Identification Zone, 126 km northwest of Ieodo.

Although air defense identification zones are not airspace under international law, it is customary to notify the relevant country upon entry.

As Chinese bombers approached Cadiz, Korean Air Force fighters tried to sortie and communicate, but there was no reply.

Chinese bombers left Cadiz in the north of the East Sea around 9:33 am, around this time, two Russian bombers and two fighters went south and joined the Chinese bombers.

At 9:58 am, Chinese and Russian bombers and fighters re-entered Cadiz from the north of the East Sea and left Cadiz to the east of Dokdo at 10:15 am.

Russian military aircraft also did not respond to communications from our Air Force fighters.

With the Russian fighters returning, four Chinese and Russian bombers descended to the East China Sea for training, then returned to Cadiz at around 3:40 pm, 267 km southeast of Cadiz.

At around 3:57, the Chinese bombers turned south and returned, while the Russian bombers made their way north through the outskirts of Cadiz.

When our military protested through the ROK-China military network, China responded, "It was a normal exercise."
