A 27-year-old woman is to be tried this Wednesday afternoon in an immediate appearance before the Lyon Criminal Court.

He is accused of having tried to steal an emergency vehicle and having caused a minor accident.

The person concerned, who was intoxicated, took advantage of an intervention by the firefighters, rue Imbert Colomès, to get into their vehicle parked on the public highway and release the handbrake.

Result: the truck went “freewheeling” to hit a car parked nearby.

The damage is however minimal, indicates the Sûreté du Rhône.

The young woman, caught on the spot, then insulted one of her rescuers.

She also denied the facts while in police custody.
