Christer Nylander will, together with Michael Färdig (L), member of the culture and leisure committee in Växjö municipality and Gunnar Nordmark (L), vice chairman of Region Kronoberg's culture committee, visit the castle ruin on Tuesday.

- I think it is important to be in place to see what needs to be done and what we can do from the political side, says Christer Nylander (L), chairman of the Riksdag's culture committee.

The money is not enough

According to Mathias Stenström, property manager at the Swedish Property Agency (SFV), the budget today is only enough to "patch and repair" for around SEK 300,000 per year.

The risks are remedied, but to remedy the problem completely, you would have to invest seven, eight million kronor annually for several years, he says.

What can you as a politician do?

- Give financial resources, but for us to be able to give it, it is also necessary that more parties join, says Christer Nylander (L).
