People's Power raised suspicions that Democratic Party candidate Kim Dong-yeon for governor of Gyeonggi Province received a large amount of support from officials from certain companies during the last presidential election.

At the floor plan meeting, floor leader Kwon Seong-dong said, "Candidate Kim needs to clarify why he received a large amount of support from people suspected of paying his attorney's fees."

According to the list of high-paying supporters for Kim's last presidential election secured by People's Power Rep. Park Soo-young's office, it was found that two former executives, including former chairman Kim Mo of S Company, each sponsored Kim 10 million won, the legal maximum limit for donations.

In relation to this, floor leader Kwon said, "Ex-Chairman Mo Kim is suspected of paying attorneys' fees through the issuance of convertible bonds, etc.

He continued, "The time when the donation was deposited was the time when the discussion about unification between candidate Lee Jae-myung and candidate Kim Dong-yeon was raised," he said. Make it clear,” he urged.

Seong Il-jong, chairman of the policy committee, also said, "Why is candidate Kim Dong-yeon's name appearing in a huge case of a trial transaction involving candidate Lee Jae-myung? said.
