Norrbotten residents are looking for a new covid vaccine - only twelve doses have been used

Life Science Sweden has mapped how many doses have been used around Sweden's regions.

Jönköping County tops by 2,490 doses, while Norrbotten is last with a total of twelve doses during the period March 8 to May 17.

The vaccine is protein-based and not structured using the mRNA technology used during the corona pandemic.

- There were some who were skeptical of the mRNA vaccines and thought that they were dangerous, but they work really well, says Anders Nystedt, infection control doctor in the Norrbotten Region.

In total, the American manufacturer Novavax has delivered 1,471,000 doses to Sweden, of which 5,928 have been consumed.
